This piano was rebuilt by Steinway, New York in 1964. They installed a new soundboard, and pin block, rebronzed the plate,
new strings and tuning pins, rebushed keys, key tops, hammers, shanks, and flanges, wippens, back checks, underlever top flanges
(damper mechanism), damper felts, regulated, overhauled pedals, nickelplated hardware, and refinished the case. Absolutely
everthing was done. The price to do this today at Steinway is... you don't want to know, probably around $35,00-$40,000.
