The owner, Randy Chastain, learned the trade of piano technician when getting her degree in music and education from Norhteastern
Illinois University in the early 1980's. She is finishing up a Masters degree in I/O Psychology at San Jose State University,
California. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the United States Open Music Competition, one of the largest open
children's piano competitions in the U.S.. Children from all over the United States and other countries come to Oakland, California
